For more than two decades, the Descalzo Matos family has demonstrated its passion for viticulture and quality wine. A wine that is born in 104 hectares of vineyards planted on trellises and spread between two Valladolid municipalities with a great wine tradition: Villaverde de Medina and Nava del Rey, where the five brothers who have given life to a “dream” are from: Bodegas La Granadilla.
GRAPES CULTIVATED WITH CARE
Dominio de La Granadilla wines are made from grapes carefully cultivated on one hundred and four hectares of Verdejo vineyards located between Villaverde de Medina and Nava del Rey, in the southernmost part of the province of Valladolid.
CARE AND EXCELLENCE
David and Miguel are the two brothers in charge of the care and monitoring of the vineyards, something they have been doing for more than twenty years with “care, attention and dedication”.
Roberto, another of the Descalzo Matos brothers, is in charge of all the winemaking processes of wines that, despite their youth, have already demonstrated their excellence.
